Grace is the Love of God to purify and wash away sin. It has nothing to do with religions. Those who walk in Grace in the Fathers Love, Love all mankind as God loves all. One can have grace without being religious or believing in God.

God has approved us all, but not everyone is delivered at the same time.

Grace is APPROVAL and there is a criteria that approval is based upon.

Phazelwood, there is no scriptural proof for that. Are you not talking outside the scope of God's Holy Word when you make such statements?

Paul

We don't need anyones approval for anything. When you walk with God, you accept everyone no matter where they came from or what they believe. You live in the moment without past or future. This is grace. Jesus walked with Grace. Do you think He needed approval from anyone? NO.

Approval is not grace because it's asking to be approved by someone. I, nor anyone else, needs to ask God if He loves us. I know He does. No need for approval for something we already had to begin with.

Well Grace IS Approval so the very fact that Grace is mentioned in God's Word differs with what your saying. And no we don't "ACCEPT" anyone. Loving everyone doesn't mean "accepting" everyone. Your just attempting to define Grace differently then what God's Word does.

Paul

Default The Illogical logic of grace?

If:

God = love
Grace = approval
Love = I unconditionally delight in who you are; in your being and in my love for you.

-Because if I love you, that implies I accept you. I can't love and accept you if I don't approve of you; of who you basically are. It also means that in doing so, I respect you. -Your actions may upset me at times, but if I truly love you, those actions don't totally undermind or cancel out my love for you...Unless my love for you is purely conditional!

Then:

How is it that God has not approved us all? Is the Christian God conditional in who He loves, and thus judgmental in his bestowing of grace!?

Take gentle care...

There is no scriptural proof against your interpretation but I do not need any because I am not arguing against you.

I interpret things differently and have shared such and it is as simple as that.

I'm sure I can't describe it better than these verses.
  • John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
  • Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
