...And then there were none. And still the Church will survive. Some women leaving in the 70's and 80's had legitimate reasons for leaving. Others, just got caught up in the secular women's movement. You will find that the tides are turning for the better. Young folks are turning to toward religious life more than the previous generation. In my diocese (small one), there are 15 men who will very soon to be ordained priests. That's almost 1 new priest for every church in the diocese. Not bad. Not bad at all.
