I am 18 and a virgin. I believe in God but don't go to church (I believe faith and being a good person are more important). I am a virgin because I want to. I am not married and don't plan on marrying. It seems like waiting until marriage is rare these days. In my group of friends at college, there is only one other virgin besides me. I have some virgin friends from my high school (mainly because some of them are younger than me). I know a lot of people that were going to wait until marriage but changed their mind.

I was a virgin until I got married at 21 years old. It's a beautiful thing to give that to your spouse on your wedding night. I don't regret it for a second. I know you don't plan on marrying, but you are 18 and will likely change your mind. I have many friends who are virgins (they are in their 20s). There are more out there than people think. God bless you and I encourage you to go to church. Worshipping with believers is a wonderful thing! There are many churches that are young, hip and you can be around likeminded people. Not all churches are stuffy like people assume or have experienced.

Brotherly love and husband love are two different things. And Divine Love, which is the essence of God, is a different love altogether. Our love is soulmate love, literally. We belong together and always have even before this life. We are married in God's Divine Love and Soulmate love. We don't need to prove to the world that we are married. God already knows our hearts.

I sure would hate to be you after you marry and realize you're not sexually compatible with your partner:/

If someone only has sex with one person (their spouse), they would have no one else to compare them to. They wouldn't know if the sex they were getting was good or bad.

This is not Biblical at all. Not in the slightest.

Typical. Love is biblical. I do not read your bible and I still know that. I don't need to read the bible in order for God or anyone else to love me and for me to love. Love is who we are. Period. If you don't understand the different kinds of love then you do not understand Jesus' message. Jesus brought Divine Love to light. He showed the world the Love of God and how we can all do the same. Just because you think something isn't biblical, does not mean anything. God loves all no matter what. Humans, on the other hand, do not. You do not understand what it is that brought me to God nor what I am being taught so this scares you. You "fear" for me because you do not want me to upset your comfort. Not here to do that. You asked and I answered yet you still believe you are more correct. Pity, because we are each other at our spiritual root source. Until you realize that, you will forever seperate yourself because of dogma, man made dogma. By the way, everything I just said is indeed in your bible.

Good day to you.

I understand Jesus better because I do read the bible.

I don't understand. The thoughts, feelings, love, compassion emotional responses and the like of Jesus are not in your bible. How do you know these things then if He does not tell you. He has told me and others. His love for mankind is incomprehensible to most who did not know Him. If you have never had a conversation or have never seen Him in person, how do you know.

He has never written anything. Love and marriage, according to God, do not require a piece of paper. It's a man made idea to control. My love for my BF is beyond any piece of paper. How many times have you argued with your wife, if your married. How many times have you sat in silence because you refuse to understand her. In all the years we have been together, not one fight or argument. None. We each are not perfect and we each do not know everything. We try to understand each others point of view and we grow. We don't claim one is right while the other is wrong. We share a life, not disrupt. Life is about learning and growing in Love. Not control over who is right or wrong. You may read the bible and you may deem it "the word of God" but you are no better than another when it comes to what is right or wrong. We all have the same issues, the same emotions yet some, more than others, deem to be above each other.

Love is who you are and Love is where you return.
