It is these comments (and your LOL's) that reveal your true intent here, Alan . . . there is no love in your efforts, there is no Christ in your efforts, and it would be overly naive' to attribute your posts to "trolling" . . . perhaps there is a darker purpose.

I have no problem with you, Alan . . . it is your attitude and lack of Christian love that worries me . . . for YOUR sake.

I love watching those old Kung Fu episodes.
There is actually a LOT of wisdom in that old show.
In fact, I'd say it's one of the best shows of all time.
Teaching compassion, patience, love, non-violence, acceptance, etc.

again....attempting to make a topic turn personal?

I have seen this time and time again..
When some people run smack into a guy who knows the Bible, knows the teachings of the church, and wont back down no matter what, then they switch their attack and make it now about the "other guy" ....

well guess what?, Alan is not the topic here so move on....move on...

(as for the whole rest of your post?..I didnt understand a word of it, sorry)

LOL...its okay that you didn't understand a word of it...I didn't at first.

You are referring to 1 Corithians 15....that which is spiritual is immortal and incorruptable. I don't understand the confusion. Not human.

we are always going to be human.
Jesus is always going to be human.

The way Jesus was resurrected is the only pattern we have for our own resurrections.

The body of Jesus came back to life.
our bodies will come back to life.

The body of Jesus was changed in nature
Our bodies wil be changed in nature

Jesus could eat (he says he can also drink too, but just not doing so yet)
We shall be able to eat

Jesus could walk
We shall be able to walk

Jesus appeared and disappeared at will
my guess is, we shall do this too.

Jesus ascended up into the clouds
We shall ascend up into the clouds

The resurrection of Jesus was physical
Our resurrection will be physical

The resurrection of Jesus is the only recorded example we have to learn from...
His is our only pattern

Hey AlanMostad,

I am going to reply to each of your stanzas.

By what scripture says Jesus will always be human?

Quote:

Quote:

Yes it did, but it also ascended to Heaven did it not...is He human in Heaven too...I don't see where you are concluding this doctrine?

Quote:

I agree...from corruptible to incorruptible...from pershable to imperishable...from natural..what is sown...to Spiritual..which is raised.

[quote[Jesus could eat (he says he can also drink too, but just not doing so yet)
We shall be able to eat
Scripture? That is about us being able to eat. We know Christ ate, but was His body complete then?

Quote:
Jesus could walk
We shall be able to walk
This is based off of His incomplete raised body, which He stated such to Mary. So therefore, since He said it was incomplete...then we are to NOT use this body He had temporarily, before His ascension, for a definition of our own.

Quote:
Jesus appeared and disappeared at will

A guess without scriptural support.

Quote:
Jesus ascended up into the clouds
We shall ascend up into the clouds
He did not ascend to the clouds, but a cloud covered Him on the mountain top, and then He ascended, veiled in it. The disciples did not see Him after the cloud enveloped Him, but only the cloud. Read Acts 1:9-11 again please.
The resurrection of Jesus was physical
Our resurrection will be physical[/uote]

Again, 1 Corithians 15 speaks the contrary.

Quote:
The resurrection of Jesus is the only recorded example we have to learn from...
His is our only pattern

Paul specifically went to great lengths to hammer this doctrine and resurrection into the congregation. Is not his words God breathed?

He hammered into their heads that the raised body is spiritual.
