When is it right to leave a church?

"The Bible does not outline a procedure on how to leave a church. In the early day of the church, a believer would have to move to another town to find a different church. Sadly, in our world today with a church on seemingly every corner, many believers leave one church for another instead of working through whatever problem there was. Forgiveness, love, and unity are to be the marks of believers (John 13:34-35; Colossians 3:13; John 17:21-23), not bitterness and division (Ephesians 4:31-32)."...............

"As described above, an important question to answer is why would any person want to leave the church? If the answer to this question is because of the lack of biblical teaching, then the course is clear..........."

Never said it was and that is not the argument so please don't try to change the argument-it doesn't work with me. This is a call to go to a good church whether it be a buidling, a house or a park but it must have good sound biblical teaching.

Scripture please that commissions us to do so.

The only one i would say you can come up with is "forsake not the assembling of yourselves together", since when as that meant going to church ?

As far as I know from what I have been taught, Jesus said that God is within you. That doesn't require a building nor does it require a bunch of people getting together. What it does mean is that you are to go about your business LOVING everyone. To find God does not require anything but the listening to that still small voice within and adhering to it's guidance. Your bible tells you that.

I'm very proud to be a woman pastor in the sense that I am doing God's work by loving those who are forgotten and those who have no idea what love is. That the best "preaching" any one can do and no church is necessary. When you lead someone to love, that is the highest thing you can do for God. When you lead people to a book or building, that's not doing anything for them in the way of love.
