In this thread, please only consider these two beliefs of scripture, this is NOT about which one is right per sey, it is about arguments that ensue between believers of these two.
If both believe that Jesus Christ is our Saviour, then what is the significance of arguing with each other over the fate of a person who dies and is not a believer, neither believes there is any hope after death for unbelievers, so who cares?
If it is Eternal Torment or anihillation what motivates you as the believer of one to say the believer of another is wrong?
If God truly loves us, then He clearly has no choice but to destroy us and cast us into the depths of eternal pain. I am just waiting until the time is right to show my true love to my own family.
"He is a just and merciful God." And if you dont believe that you will be thrown into the pit of fire to have your flesh burned FOREVER! Doesnt sound too merciful to me!
