No, all the great societies have come and gone because they allowed themselves to become pampered and weak and lost their ability and will to self-defense. And then they fell to some invaders who had greater strength and survival instinct, who were poor with nothing to lose and thus were determined to take by force what they needed to survive. Sometimes it was masked by religion, yes. But the ultimate reason was always the same: the struggle for survival with limited resources.

Saying that Nazi Germany had an impressive fighting force and military technology is not in any way equal to idolization

My position all along is that they should have the right to live that lifestyle if it makes them happy. I only protest when they start interfering with our freedom of religion.

OTOH, the Nazis were unbelievably cruel. I just saw a film called Anthropoid and found myself literally weeping in the theater at the end after learning about the sacrifices and pain that the Czech people had to endure under Hitler's rule. The Nazis ruled by fear. And fear is of the devil.
He is completely misinformed about Hitler being a Christian man, or maybe he is simply trying to associate Hitler with Christians. That would be in line with his posting history. But then again, if millions in the -1930s were fooled by his propaganda, then why not today.

Hitler’s Table Talk is a compilation of sayings by Hitler in private conversations that were recorded by other Nazis. It is a good source for what Hitler really thought.

“…the only way of getting rid of Christianity is to allow it to die little by little.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 61

“It’s Christianity that’s the liar. It’s in perpetual conflict with itself.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 61

“In the long run, National Socialism and religion will no longer be able to exist together.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 6

“Kerrl, with the noblest of intentions, wanted to attempt a synthesis between National Socialism and Christianity. I don’t believe the thing’s possible, and I see the obstacle in Christianity itself.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 145

“As far as we are concerned, we’ve succeeded in chasing the Jews from our midst and excluding Christianity from our political life.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 394

“When all is said, we have no reason to wish that the Italians and Spaniards should free themselves from the drug of Christianity. Let’s be the only people who are immunised against the disease.” –Hitler’s Table Talk, pg 145

etc, etc, etc

I am not hiding ,I am right out front with what I believe and why I believe it.

Are you a Christian that believes all of the Bible is God's inspired word?

I have not finished going through this thread, but so far he has not responded to what Christians say that is bigoted.

My Mother's pastor told her to disown me, she did and the rest of the family agreed. I haven't been to a family function in about four years. I see from so many, it's as if there are signs on the churches that say "No gay people, only straight people here" Jesus didn't build walls of separation. There's a beautiful story about Jesus that I love. He went to this Pharisees house, and he was sitting there and a prostitute came in. This girl, in the eyes of Pharisees was dirty, an abomination; and she dropped to her knees and washed His feet with her hair and her tears. The Pharisee said something about it, like "do you know who she is, what she's done?" And He said...you know, you guys study the scriptures, and debate the finer points of the law, and you think you have eternal life, but you don't come to Me. The one who loves much, is forgiven much.

If you want to know how to love, you don't buy a book about love, or go to some conference, or retreat. You look to those who have been marginalized, like the Samaritan who the Pharisees despised, but saved a life. You look at the prostitute, who loved Jesus so much she came in and washed His feet with her hair and tears, not caring what others thought about it, just so desperate to love on Him.

To turn a phrase from President Reagan "Christian! Tear down those walls!"
Greetings,

I am so sorry for the pain you've experienced at the hands of so called "loving" Christians. It is absolutely deplorable and reprehensible that your family would excise you from their life simply because you may be homosexual/lesbian. It does not effect them in anyway, shape or form, they ought to understand that (lest they are emotionally immature). Just know, you have a friend in Christ. Whenever the world spits in your face and rejects you, he is there. Infact, he is there yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Don't you worry about your family, because I garauntee you that one day they'll call you to apologize, and at that point you will have moved on - no more pain, no more grief, all of that will be washed away by the blood of Christ. I promise you that.

God bless.

The sons of Cain also invented music and metal forgery(Gen 5:21-22).

IMO inventors are smarter than thosew who improved the inventions.

Do I really need to? Hitler believe in death, torture and ruling by fear. I believe in helping your neighbor, not hurting them.

But you refuse to look into what may be hurting and NOT helping because of your prejudice.

If by helping, you mean approving of sin then no, I won't do that just like you reject other forms of sexual immorality that you don't approve of.
