You're just yanking my chain this morning aren't ya? No he didn't prove anything...he just gave his speculative opinion on what he thinks they mean.

To the contrary. There is no speculation involved. The Scriptures plainly tell us that unbelieving humanity's eternal destination is the lake of fire. The only issue is, will a person believe what the word of God has to say about it, or will a person distort, either out of ignorance or out of willfulness, what God has so very plainly and clearly, and in no uncertain terms revealed to us. The facts have been given.

That is true there destination is the Lake of Fire....but where does it say that unbelievers are tormented day and night forever? It doesn't.

There are some that have not kept the appointment, and have disciplined themselves in the ways of Christ, thereby overcoming sin and death.

Cancel the appointment, and set a new one with our Lord.

godspeed,

freedom

Revelation 14:9 ''...If anyone (unbelieving humanity) worships the beast(antichrist) and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or upon his hand, 10) he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in FULL strength in the cup of His anger; AND HE (the unbeliever) WILL BE TORMENTED WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE in the presence of the Lamb. 11) ''AND THE SMOKE OF THEIR TORMENT GOES UP FOREVER AND EVER; AND THEY HAVE NO REST DAY AND NIGHT.'' ETERNAL TORMENT OF THE UNBELIEVER IN THE LAKE OF FIRE.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast (antichrist--a man) and the false prophet (a man--possibly the Roman Catholic Pope) are also; AND THEY WILL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOREVER AND EVER

Matthew 25:41 ''Then He will also say to those (unbelieving humanity) on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.

Matthew 25:46 ''And these (unbelieving humanity) will go away into eternal punishment...

These passages state in clear precise terms, that unbelieving humanity is tormented forever in the lake of fire.

The Bible is the word of God. God is absolute truth. The Bible states that unbelievers are tormented in the lake of fire forever. The issue is: DO YOU BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD OR NOT? It is a decision everyone must make.

no, the bible states that the devil, the wild beast and the false prophet are tormented for ages of ages, this are only three beings, is it not even said that they are actually human beings.

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40)

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (Revelation 20:12)

that seems that people are jugded rather according to their deeds as according to their belief, I think the sheep and goats in Matthew 25 are both unbelievers.

Tough verse, I have heard people say that this is referring to needy people in general, I have heard other says, this applies to nation Israel, even the 144,000 but for me it is clear it is "those on His right" those that receive His emissaries. (Matthew 18:5) these are true believers

when I read this verse, I always have the impression that those who helped Jesus' brothers did not even knew what they did, that they possibly not even ever heard of Jesus

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. (Hebrews 13:2)
