THIS is why we should never listen to "clergy" who have nothing to go on but their theology and who don't even believe in Jesus promisr of a "guide" with characteristics easy to recognize.

A lot of fundamentalists get around this with the doctrine of the age of accountability. I am not sure where in the Bible they get this from though..

You are right Psalm 92:7 does Not say children.

Those pre-Flood children would have grown up violent as their parents were violent - Genesls 6:11
So, the pattern of the Flood is that the children, at the soon coming ' time of separation ' on Earth, belonging to the haughty ' goats ' will be destroyed - Matthew 25:31-33
Children of righteous or believing parents will be spared - 1st Corinthians 7:14; Matthew 25:37

Again your assuming that they would be like their parents but you do not know that. For the truth sake stop making your own conclusions. Many children come from bad homes in every generation and they grow to be fine adults, perhaps you are one of them? Just because the children died with the parents in the flood, it does not mean that they where guilty of anything or will be judged for what their parents did or on a future that they did not live out.

Children of believers as well as unbelievers die every day and who knows why except God. Don't pretend to be the judge of these things least you look foolish as did Job's three friends who thought they knew why Job suffered but they did not. They became false judges and were called to repent and eat their words. You really need reconsider how you are using Scripture to support some false views of yours.

EZEK 18:2 "What mean you, that you use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?
EZEK 18:3 As I live, says the Lord GOD, you shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel."

EZEK 18:20 "The soul that sins, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."

When Children are baptized or dedicated , and Christians pray under the sovereign authority of Jesus Christ then Jesus will forgive their sins and babies will be saved , as they gave God authority to saved the babies .............Parents who will never baptize their children or dedicate them to Jesus may have to only get the authority of some Christian intercessor that only God know to bring the prayer that God needs to save the babies who have no other prayer .......... Bottom line ...........

What is the definition of sin?

The answer to this question will decide the answer to your question.

Christians generally despise the old testament because it contains a lot of Jewish laws - over 600 if you include the full count. Because they despise the law and the prophets, Christians have arrived at a skewed understanding of how God looks at things.

Like sin, for instance.

What is sin? According to the Old Testament, sin is an act of willful disobedience against God. That's the short definition of it. Payment for sin involves a sacrifice - a goat, a lamb, a bull and so on. Exactly how and when the sacrifice was to be made are written in extreme detail. The law also requires offering to be given. An offering is a gift of gratitude or celebration to God for His blessings. An offering is a celebratory act, not one of guilt for sin.

Now we come to the good part.

An offering of two doves or pigeons was required for the birth of a baby. Study the law and you will see that no SIN offering was required. The offering was a celebratory gift of gladness. Doves and pigeons were a GLAD offering NOT A SIN offering. Following Jesus' birth, Joseph and Mary offered doves as a glad offering. The birds symbolize gladness NOT guilt. If they symbolized guilt, then the offering of doves for Jesus' birth would have meant HE was a sinner too. He wasn't.

Therefore, ACCORDING TO GOD'S LAW, a baby is NOT guilty of sin. If accident or illness should take a child in death, the baby is considered BY GOD ACCORDING TO HIS OWN LAW to be sinless. The child has not yet developed the will to sin and is therefore NOT guilty. Any parent, Christian or otherwise, will acknowledge this basic fact. A baby is incapable of sin.

Hello? Are you still with me?

All humans are born with the capacity to sin. Therefore it is written that all men and women are POTENTIAL sinners.

But God only punishes the act of sin NOT THE POTENTIAL.

Most Christians got it wrong, which is why child baptism became popular. Study God's law and you'll see it for yourself. The ways of man are not God's ways.

The soul of a dead baby does not go to hell.

....unless of course you can publish a list of it's violation of the ten commandments I"m afraid I'll have to insist it is sinless.

God doesn't punish possibilities (as men do). He punishes the act.

and that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

God needs someone to say a prayer in order to "save babies"????

Good Lord.
