My experience with pot was shall we say.....full of paranoia. It's not for me, but I have friends who use it medicinally and it really helps them. God would not have created the darn plant if it wasn't meant to be used for something.

Caffiene makes me paranoid - I can't imagine what pot would do to me!

Oh Yeah.......and it may be illegal now....but I believe eventually the gov will see the financial benefits of legalizing it. I seriously would rather have someone smoking pot than drinking alcohol...I believe pot to be the "lesser of the two evils"....although I don't think it's evil at all.

Oh I bet there are those who will claim God did no such thing and will blame it on the devil.

I actually love coffee -but even decaf has too much caffeine for me! I get all shakey, paranoid, and my heart pounds. I also can't sleep at night - I may be tired but my eyes won't shut! Oh - and as much as I talk normally - multiply that by a thousand and speed it up! I'm not pleasant to be around when I've had caffeine!

I never said such people do not exist. Believers can suppress the Holy Spirit and are capable of any sin.

It is called 'grieving' of 'quenching' the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is alive in a believer, and wants the freedom to influence the life of the person, but if the person sins willfully then he/she disallows the spirit to act. People who do this, should examine their faiths.

Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption

Yes, I do, it is the one already presented on this thread. If you read the chapter you will find that Paul gives examples of sins which are committed in the body, such as sexual immorality. Such sins are committed with YOUR OWN body, not the body of Christ. And he says to honor God with your body. Do you honor God with your body when you have sex with a prostitute? No, you don't. Do you honor God when you draw toxic smoke into your lungs in order to cloud your mind? No, of course you don't.

1 Corinthians 6:19-25 . 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
