NYDN: Sell the Vatican, feed the world. That's the unsolicited advice from Sarah Silverman to the Pope to make the world a better place - or at least to further her signature brand of snark-infested and taboo-tinged humor. "You preach to live humbly, and I totally agree," Silverman says to the head of the Catholic Church in a YouTube video.

It's not quantity or distribution capability. It's corrupt governments and organizations that confiscate supplies and then sell food on the black markets. Selling the Vatican would be useless. Fix the corrupt and evil governments of the world, and the world would be better fed.

LOL, the Pope does not own the Vatican. The Pope owns nothing, he has taken a vow of poverty. He is allowed to use it temporary but most of the things in the Vatican have been given to it or is still owned by the person who "gave" it so it would go back to the family who owns it if they got rid of it.

So why doesn't Sarah foul mouth Silverman give all her positions to the poor, she owns more than the Pope does. Plus the Vatican is in charge of the largest charity in the world which gives to the poor through Catholic charities around the world. Silly woman.

Because she's not the one in the position of criticism. She isn't claiming to live humbly, or to have taken a vow of poverty. So...she's not the hypocrite.
