Back to the original question, why are not all chosen? The choice is ours. God wants all to be saved, but many (most) will choose not to love and obey God. This makes more sense if we understand that God created all things to include space and time. The absence of space is infinity and that is where God exists. The absence of time is eternity and that is never ending. Space and time are creations that will end with the material universe. I'm bringing this up to explain how we can have free will and have God know what we will do before we do it. Before we are born even. He can look into His creation, time, at any point from beginning to end. He knows who will choose to follow Him and who will not. He can "fast forward the movie" to see how it ends. "Many are called, but few are chosen" means that God wants all men to be His, but few will accept His offer.

You are confusing God with man! God could "empty" Himself of whatever YOU think He was full of and STILL be full! HE'S GOD! He can do ALL things! The sooner that you believe that, the sooner it will all start making sense to you. Stop trying to "figure" Him out in your own understanding and let the understanding of who He is become your reality.

He's not like sinful men! SO full of themselves they don't have room for nothing and no one else!! This is Christ that we are speaking of! You know, the ALPHA and OMEGA, THE FIRST and the LAST, THE BEGINNING and THE END, THE KINGS of KINGS, THE LAMB..........

You understand? Do you understand that He is a WONDER? A WONDER to behold?

Betsey

So eloquently put.

Sorry . . . but your God is too weak . . . if His will can be thwarted by His own creations.

God can't force someone to love Him.

Then do you believe there is any form of punishment for not doing so? Is force the only option available to your God?
