Luk 1:44 for, lo, when the voice of thy salutation came to my ears, leap in gladness did the babe in my womb;

John seems to have a lot a soul for an infant with no life.

This seems like a very strange pro choice argument you've got going on. But if you've got some scripture to back it, I'll reconsider.

What happens during partial birth abortions, when just the head is outside the womb?

To think infants in the womb are not human is so incorrect. Not only are they human, but God says they have faith or are wicked.

Psalm 22:10
From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother's womb you have been my God.

Psalm 58:3
Even from birth the wicked go astray; from the womb they are wayward and speak lies.

"Faith comes from hearing". Luke 1:41-44 has John the Baptist hearing the message by what the mother (Elisabeth) heard. It is a fact that babies do hear what is happening outside the womb. When exposed to God's Word, God works faith, faith is not achieved by intellect on our part. However, exposed to wickness..the wicked go astray as early as from the womb Psalm 58:3.

Popular....no
Will I be ridiculed....yes (and expect it)
Is Psalm 58:3 and Psalm 22:10 the truth....yes
Am I going to debate the point..........no

Does the punishment really last FOREVER? Do you realize the word for punishement is kolasis? That means a curtailment. So if the punishing last forever then that means the past tense (punishment) never happens and yet you used the past tense (Punishment). That is complete contradiction. Besides Alan, what is just to you. How long should God punish the wicked for what they did wrong in 70 years of their earthly existence? Should it be another 70 years? - how bout 70 x 70 years or 70000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000 x 70000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years raised to the 70000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years? - of course they would NOT even come close to eternity but you know what that is what the ETers believe is a JUST God. Can you believe that? - the atheist can't and I can't blame them. It is absurd.

This is a long debated question. My present (open to change) belief is that the condemned are tossed into the Lake of Fire and cease to exist. I am not certain of this, however, because the Bible isn't (to me) absolutely clear on the subject. I don't intend to end up among the condemned in any case, but the horror of eternal punishment would certainly be a strong incentive for accepting God's plan of salvation!

But even your own holy book says "It is the goodness of God which leads us to repentance" does it not?

And what is the baby in the womb (or newborns) lying about? Pray tell?

Is "from the womb" possibly an expression of speech used to make a passionate (ie: exaggerated) point? Do you think?

Maybe?

Ridiculed? Don't worry spin - God knows them babies is lyin'. He can understand those other tongues as plain as day. We just hear "goo goo - ga ga" but God know's there saying "That's not my momma right there" and "I'm not hungry - I just like the taste of milk" and "God didn't create me - I evolved" etc etc.

Don't worry about what us people think who can't understand their wicked newborn gibberishy lies!

(PS - Hope this fulfilled your expectations!)

BTW spin, I understand that you are speaking of this in a spiritual way and in an elect/non-elect way (though I still disagree) but I couldn't resist the literal interpretation of what you were quoting. I have a newborn in the house and so far he just wants to eat/sleep/pee/poop.

Do you have children? (just curious)
