and never saw death in this life

I've always thought it was Moses and Elijah, too.
To make a long story short I read a book by a guy claiming to be one of the witnesses. No, I don't believe he is, lol. But anyway, it got me to thinking of ways to dispute information in the book.
That research lead me to someone explaining how the witnesses are the Old Testament/Judiasm and the New Testament/Christianity. There was also a verse referenced where Christ said, "You were with me from the beginning." So I'm thinking the Son and the Holy Spirit are also specifically tied to the two witnesses and the descriptions given in Revelation of actual prophets aren't meant to be literally Moses & Elijah. They are meant to describe the Son and the Holy Spirit working through the prophets.
This was almost a year ago but I can't find the website or the reference again. If anyone is familar with what I typed could you please point me in the right direction?
I am also interested in hearing other opinions on this subject.

Many people think that but Moses died, the passage where Michael and Satan battled over Moses body. God deliberately hid Moses body because He knew the Jews would worship Moses tomb.

In looking for the lost information, I read that, too. That it couldn't be Moses because he died physically.
Enoch and Elijah were were taken into Heaven so that makes the information I posted above make even more sense.

CMichele SAID:They are meant to describe the Son and the Holy Spirit working through the prophets....
Thats impossible because it says the witnesses will be killed and their bodies thrown in the street for people to mock. Then people will send each other gifts because they tormented the world with the TRUTH and now they are dead...But in 3 days they will rise again just as Jesus did.
So they will be a witness to God and to the resurrection of Christ

Which brought me to another point, The Trinity. Another thread for another day...
Where would Moses/Enoch and Elijah receive such power?
And I go back to that "you were with me from the beginning" verse.
