You guys got to pick what side you will stand on...
Do you stand with Jesus and try to protect a young girl?
Or do you stand with the mob and have a stone in your hand?

[quote=Sundance;11508444]Church to Prejean: Live and Learn
We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to reduce her demand from more than $1 million to ... just validate my parking, please. Lol, had to laugh at this, so true though.

I used to think like that too, Fundie, but I started to socialize with a woman in NY, I met her during a church charity activity, and after a lot of days she dropped that bomb that she is a professional stripper.
And she is "very" devout and is a church-attending catholic, sits thru the entire mass.
I dunno how she leads that double life, but it really got me to pipe down with respect to show business chicks, hookers and the like They can still connect to God, and when they cry in despair, Jesus can forgive them, given his character.

I can only assume that Fundy will be here to call conservatives on their hypocrisy.. Right Fundy?
I mean you said plainly that you admit when conservatives get busted:
http://www.city-data.com/forum/8464222-post54.html
Surely that means that you are composing a post now to state how ridiculous it was to label Miss Prejean as the next coming of the Christian Evangelical revolution. I mean she was out there.. Fox News had her on there.. She was just pointing out her conservative religious views right?

LOL.....LOL......These are two entirely different arguments (the first political-second theological)...LOL The first argument was about free speech and the gay agenda curbing a Christian's right to call homosexuality for what it was, a sin, this argument was about a weak pastor who should have done his job as a shepherd in the first place.
No where have I condoned her parading on stage or the pastor defending her just her right for free speech where I believe I also said I would defend the right of free speech for the KKK...now don't know what FOXnews has to do with this. I am a Christian not a conservative. I do not consider Hannity nor O'reily as Christians.

1. They are two different arguments. I never stated they weren't
2. I'm speaking directly to your statement that you admit when conservatives get busted. You stated you would admit to it.
I will even admit when we conservatives get busted but come on
So now surely you can admit that conservatives propping the idiot that is Carrie Prejean up as the model of "Christian values" was ridiculous..
So whether you are a liberal or a conservative makes no difference.. I would think you would call out the conservative hypocrisy just as quick as you felt a need to point out what you perceived as a liberal hypocrisy.
I guess I ask too much though.. I shall learn not to take you at your word.
Unless of course.. you know.. you call out the "conservative hypocrisy".

OHHHH!!!!!!! Bigthirsty we don't agree on much but I am 100% on board with you on that!!!! That is what happens when Christians put their politics before scripture. I was not happy the way many Christians defended her in such a manner and basically used scripture wrongly to power the evil conservative propaganda machine. It was wrong and it made conservative Christians look like hypocrites and it hurt the gospel!

I think her pastor followed the New Commandent that Jesus gave us: To Love one another and also He told Peter to forgive our brother 70 x 7. Where's the Love on this thread?
Today, Carrie Prejean, Tomorrow you or me.
The same measure you use against another likewise will be used against you.
Jesus is in the forgiving and restoration business.
