She called out homosexuals, yet had a SEX TAPE floating around? |
I guess as the church we would also have to ask ourselves if God is more concerned with a sex tape.....or more concerned in our inability to walk in love and forgiveness.
I simply refuse to judge a situation and screw up my own blessings. Don't know this girl or her pastor. Don't care. I'm going to not judge, forgive and move on.

Well, one of the Corinthians was having sex with his fathers wife, and though Paul clearly reproved him of such a thing, nevertheless later Paul said he should be forgiven ... Not to mention the fact that the apostle Peter was a respecter of men in that he preferred the circumcision even after God commanded him not to do so.
What surprises me is not only the hypocrisy of the women herself who condemned others for their sexual sins(knowing of her own shortcomings in this regard), but the hypocrisy of those here on C-D in condemning her for the same.

There was a great example in the Bible of a young girl also caught in the middle of a sexual scandal.
The girl was treated badly and dragged before Christ.
The mob all thought that Jesus would condemn her actions and lead the charge to punish her.
However Jesus stood up and got between her and the mob.
So you people got to now decide if you are with the mob at condemning Carrie Prejean, or with Christ as he defends her?
Because trust me, the Lord is watching this forum, He is paying attention to the things we have written on this topic, and some of the words are just like the stones the mob wanted to throw...

This morning NBC’s today show interviewed her and showed clips of her pageant highlights; namely that of her in the bikini. I just don’t see how a person can claim to be a Christian, have the Spirit of God, and be following Jesus, all the while prancing around almost naked “strutten her stuff”? She really swings herself in the clip and clearly oozes sex. I just don’t understand her mind set when Scripture show us a different way.

She's sorry for her sin. She's asked for forgiveness. No one is excusing her sin. Just as Jesus forgave that woman who was also caught in sexual sin, her Pastor can do no less, based on her contrite heart. She messed up. That was stupid! He did not condone what she did. Jesu said "go and leave your life of sin". I'm sure the Pastor has met with Carrie and told her the same thing.
In Christianity, there is no sin too foul for God's grace to reach.
