The bible apparently makes it very clear. Ephesians 2:8 says For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.NKJV
What a wonderful God we serve. We can't work for our Salvation. IT'S SIMPLY A GIFT FROM GOD for all us to receive. HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE GIFT OF SALVATION? If you haven't then all you have to do is just read this verse from Romans 10:9: That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. NKJV
Many argue that it takes more than simply reciting Romans 10:9. But Paul, who write under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, has made it quite clear--confess, believe on Jesus, and God, and the Holy Spirit will do the rest. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN!!!!!
God's grace is His Divine Love. It's is the only thing that will save you. Confessing that Jesus has risen only confirms that you believe in the spirit world and that you believe we will still live once there. It does nothing for your soul.
I've never confessed with my mouth that Jesus is Lord or anything else. He's my big brother and not my God. Confessing of sins only clears your conscience and it does help you but it doesn't mean you are forgiven. That's something between you and God alone and not some minister professing to do God's work. No one can do the work that is God's alone.
Pray for Divine love because that is the Grace that is our salvation that Jesus proclaimed. It's the only thing that will save you from sin.

Glory to the Lamb! We are saved by God's grace alone. And, we can know that we are still in the faith and on the narrow road by the rest of the scripture.
Ephesians 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
2 Corinthians 13
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Ephesians 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
It is Jesus....who is the Word that saves us! Is the word of God flooding my desires, ambitions, goals, attitude, life? When I do or say something is it the word that comes forth? Not my will, but thy will be done! What is God's will.... His Word (Jesus)!
His Word (Jesus) gives us the faith to act or speak producing the fruit of grace onto good works. Walk in it..... and be blessed!

Amen! Jesus works through us as we yield to Him. This is what walking in the Spirit is all about.
Romans 13
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Ephesians 4
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Colossians 3
9 ...seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
