Default The blood of Jesus forgives and cleanses sin

Yes, you must have God-given faith to even accept Calvary. Also, there's a difference between the blood of Jesus wiping out all your past sins and the blood of Jesus cleansing you of all sin; the second part is a purging process.

1 John 1
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

As you walk in the Light, the Holy Spirit will expose your wrongdoing, which you were ignorant of, so that it can be washed out of your life. If you knowingly reject what has been revealed, then you become a willful sinner again.

1 John 1
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

My question then is: Where does faith in God come from?

Romans 3:22-23 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

So aren't all sinners given grace? but living righteously is from God through faith?

Although these verses don't say what will happen if you don't confess your sins, you aren't saved from sin... it just states that to live like you are saved from sin you must confess your sins and get rid of them..

So do you believe that only a certain few people are chosen and saved or is the call of salvation to all men?

Salvation is available to all.

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. - Revelation 22:17

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. - Hebrews 11:6

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. - Hebrews 10:38

Hebrews 12 verse 6

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Sounds to me that God as our Father will conform us to His image

2Cor.5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight.

John 20:29
Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Context - Hades and death have already been thrown into the fire. Those in Christ only remain for this offer in Rev. 22.

Rev. 20:13-15 - And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
