The benefits and Consolation we have in Christ, the Firstborn, the only begotten Son of God [human being kind], is in our being reconciled to God, as his sons, to have an intercessor for us before the Glory above, such as Job longed for, when he bemoaned the fact that God was not an ish, as he [Job] was, nor was there one to plead his case, as a daysman between them -Job chapter 9.
The fact is, that now there is an Ish, a second creation human being Man, who is YHWH the Word, come in flesh. the Daysman who pleads our case before the Glory above, for He is come as second human Ish, and He is the Everlasting Father of that New Man creation, who adopts us and represents us before the Glory.
He is then, the dual natured YHWH and second Human Being, named Israel, not Adam, and who was tempted in all points as we are, but without sin; and He ever lives to make intercession for us before the Glory, as the Ish Job longed for to represent us, in that place [as Firstborn of earth] -which the first father Adam lost , as son of God- and for which place of firstborn of earth there has never been a continuing one, until Christ came as the second creation human being "ISH" -and as "the God of the whole earth" and as the "Everlasting Father" who will "never leave us or forsake us" and who "ever lives to make intercession for us", before the Glory above. Isa 54:5 For thy Maker [is] thine husband; YHWH of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer[Ga'al =Kinsman] the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.Jhn 14:18 I will not leave you orphans: I will come to you.
In Numbers 23:19 we read that God is not an ish nor a son of Adam.
In Isaiah 59 we read that YHWH looked and saw no ish to bring forth justice for the earth, and so He Himself, put on the garments of Kinsman/Redeemer and came as Kinsman/Redeemer -a second Ish!
In Jeremiah, we read the promise of the second creation Man as that New Thing in the Earth, when "a woman compassed a Geber". Christ come as Second Man named Israel, is the Ish, a Geber, our Strong and Mighty God, our Everlasting Father, and the Firstborn of Earth, the High Priest and High King of it; and the One who is seated on high and who ever lives to make intercession for us, as our own Kinsman.
In Hosea 2, we read that Israel will call YHWH "My Ish", when the nation is returned to Him.
This thread is a take off from another thread about Christ come in the order of Melche -Zedek, for understanding the role of Christ as the King of Righteousness who will never die, and who ever lives as our own High Priest of earth -of the New Creation.
On a note of teaching about the office of High Priest and what it means to us who are Christians: Adam had the office and lost it in his spiritual death, as an eternal one. After that, Adam's firstborn sons had it, as temporary, only, and not with the ability to appear before the Glory above, as a son of God [because Eden's gate was shut], and they had it through the line of Seth, after Cain [firstborn] lost it by being defiled for it it by killing Abel. It was passed down, through the lines of mortal Adam souls born to Seth, until He would come who would restore the dominion by ransom of it, and ransom of the lost seed who were created to be sons of God in the beginning, and who would be atoned for and adopted into the Name of the Firstborn of earth who was to come, and who is the "Everlasting Father" of the New Man creation, who promised to never leave us orphans, or forsake us, and who ever lives to make intercession for us.
Melche [king] Zedek [righteousness] was Shem, the third born son of Noah and the one who received the blessing of "firstborn" through the line of Seth, from Noah, and who was Melche Zedek who met Abraham and gave the blessing of firstborn of earth to Abraham. Hebrews says that the Holy Spirit "morphosed" "Shem" [made like: aphomoioō; to cause a model to pass off into an image or shape like it], who dwelled at Mount Moriah and who is"Melche Zedek", into the likeness of the Son of God, who has no beginning of days nor end of life, no father, no mother -because He is YHWH in the Person of the Word, come in flesh of second Man creation to be our Redeemer/Kinsman, Savior, and to adopt us as His own sons, into His one Living Spirit/Christ.
Adam was created as son of God and high priest and king of the earth -and of all who would descend from his loins, as his multiplied seed. When Adam was defiled with the fruit, he lost that office, as an eternal one, to represent his seed before the Glory above as a son of God, and we all died as sons of God in his loins, but we all, existing as seed in the loins of our first father in Adam, received the promise of the Seed of the Woman who would crush the head of the serpent. The Redeemer was promised right there, right then, to come, and we all were given that promise because we were in the loins of our father Adam -as the author of Hebrews makes plain about existence as seed in the loins of the father, in chapter 7, and we were given the promise. Hbr 7:10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
So the order of Firstborn Son of God belongs to the New Man, who is the King of Earth, High Priest of earth, and who has adopted us who were born in dead Adam spirit as His own sons. He is the One who will never leave us or forsake us, and who ever lives to make intercession for us before the Glory above. We were orphans in Adam, as sons, by the death and cutting off of our first father when we were living seed [to come forth as living sons of God], in his loins.
If you think my teaching on the matter of Firstborn using Hebrews and the instructions got from ancient writings on the matter are off topic for this thread, then say so, and I will take this to a thread of its own.
Firstborn is a topic that needs much disclosure from the beginning, to understand what Jesus, as New Man, the Only Begotten, Firstborn Son of God of the human being kind, and our father by adoption, means to us and means for the earth, when He brings forth His justice for it at the time He takes His power as Firstborn of earth unto Himself and reigns.
The Hebrew words get translated to English generically, and lose meaning, sad to say.
Hebrew Adam [אדם 'adam ] is translated this many ways:AV — man 408, men 121, Adam 13, person(s) 8, common sort + 07230 1, hypocrite 1
So man/men is to English 1200+ times from those 4 Hebrew words.
Adam means earth [adamah] blood [dam], so Adam is an earthling, of the earth, earthy -from below, as Jesus said.
Ish is translated man, but the man who is an Adam ish was made to govern the earth, as a servant of God, and to rule and have dominion over it, for good, and for justice. The woman is the Ishyah taken from the ish [Genesis 2:23]. Christ come in flesh is the second Man Ish, and the Ishyah is Israel, firstly, and the Church is adopted into the Ish "plant" of the New Man planting so to speak; but the adoption pertained to Israel, who had the name invoked over them as a sign of the adoption to come, both for Jews and for Gentiles who are born into the New Man Living Spirit, and then, at the regeneration of the body, into His Name, "Israel". Rom 8:23 And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.Rom 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom [pertaineth] the adoption, ...
