pcamps has given you the scripture enough times and you continue to deny it. Changing God's word is risky business....I'd take it for what it says...."whatever other commandments there may be"....not All but the first 4.

Matthew 25
34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
When we follow the commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves we are showing that we love God above ALL (even above the law)....also taking care of the first 4 commandments.

Default We see love?

They, meaning the world will know the purchased, the blood bought, because they love the brothers and sisters, they will help the spiritual weak, the down trodden, the true believer will show a tender heart, compassion, not much of that here. Especially form H.K. Self righteousness, I used to be, then I found GRACE, I am free, no longer wish to sin, not an issue, I have been bought with the BLOOD OF THE LAMB. Oh I did commit willful sin, then a Preacher showed me the parable of the Prodigal Son. Looking back over that parable, the son who did not commit the willful sin of leaving the Father house got jealous because he had been righteous in all his ways. Then I remember JESUS said go get the 1 sheep out of the 100, then I recalled forgive 7 time 70 in one day. If someone sins against me 490 times in one day I am going to assume it is willful, yet JESUS said forgive him. I will, show you my faith and I will show you my faith and my works, if you see a brother in need help him, be kind hearted, loving, towards your fellow man, these are the works that the true follower of the real HOLY SPIRT FILLED CHRISTAIN will do.

The man who was found gathering sticks on the sabbath day was stoned to death. Why did he die? His ancestor Abraham may well have gathered sticks on any day, yet was a friend of God. So undoubtedly did Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, or thousands of their servants, but they did not die. So why pick on this man?

What? did you not read the OP? He disobeyed God's commandment! They did not "pick" on him, they just removed the evil out of the camp. You do not know whether Abraham, Issac or Jacob or any of their ancestors or decendants kept the sabath or not, so this arguement is moot. The Law was given to Moses and so all had to follow it. Regardless if they knew it or not, they were required to follow it. This man did not follow the law, so he had to pay the penalty.

Correct!

So he was stoned for disobedience. Why, then, was there no command for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and many more?
