::Sigh:: When we see the Spirit of perfect agape love that motivates Christ . . . we see God the Father because God IS agape love. God is Spirit and it is Christ's Spirit of agape love that shows us who our Father is . . . NOT His body! God wants us to "love God and each other." That is the kind of worship that develops mature Spirits in agape love. Vain men want to be worshiped . . . God is not vain and does not need ANYTHING. EVERYTHING is for US . . . to develop our Spirits to maturity.

What's the difference here?...

Any thoughts about Jesus, the greater David, at Psalm 89:26 ?
Yes, in fact Jesus tried to stress it as truth to those who listen to his voice, he made the statement--My God--4 times in that single paragraph.
Yes, Jesus the greater David is king of kings--- appointed for a millennial reign( Daniel 7:13-15--- but at the end of the millennial reign--Jesus hands back the kingdom to his God and Father, and subjects himself-1Cor 15:24-28)
In trinity translations-Jesus teaches in the last line of the Lords prayer--- The kingdom-power-glory, all belong to the Father.
That it is why--John 4:22-24 is a daily occurrence in the life of a follower of Jesus. without fail.

That doesn't mean they can't stop. Following Christ's instructions to His disciples to "love God and each other" daily and repent when we don't is the way to minimize missing the mark.

Some are unhappy, if they don't see themselves as a "filthy" rag.
Apparently, their gratification depends on suffering or humiliation.
