I was reading John and this verse jumped out at me. Out of all the scrpture that has been quoted here I don't see this. Maybe it's here, I don't know but there is no denying what it says.

This is from the NIV:

John 1:18

18No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.

This is from the KJV:

John 1:18

18No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Wow, what a stark contrast. Now clearly in the NIV version they completely changed it to say that Jesus IS God. In the KJV, it says Jesus is in the "bosom" of the Father, but not that He IS God. But there is enough scripture (already posted by OP and others) to prove that Jesus is in fact, GOD.

Is Jesus God? Yes. He is part of the Trinity, the Godhead. He has always been with the Father and always will be. One but seperate. I don't understand why all the confusion about this. It seems crystal clear to me.

The NIV hasn't been good for the seekers of the world. It is filled with errors and distortions that lead us further from the truth... that said.

The "NO man hath seen God at any time" part should put the whole thing to rest.

Thousands have seen Jesus.

godspeed,

freedom

Did Jesus’ Own Lips Ever Say He Was God?
Who Did Jesus Say He Was?

Jesus NEVER says this, and not only does he NOT say he is God, but he even DENIED IT. I can’t stress that enough. You are trying to really twist verses to try and prove Jesus is God. It just doesn’t work. If you do that, it makes no logical sense, and it is quite clear they are separate.

Verses that Prove Jesus Thinks God is Greater, Separate, etc.:
· John 14:28 Jesus said “My Father (GOD) is greater than I
· Mark 10:18 Jesus said “And Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.”?
· John 8:28 Jesus said “I do nothing of myself”?
· 1 Corinthians 8:6 “yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.”
· Mark 15:34 says “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”—which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
· John 5:31 Jesus told his followers that if he (Jesus) bears witness of himself, then his record is not true?
· Hebrew 5:7 he prayed and cried for GOD to hear him and give him mercy by saving him from death?
· John 1:18 he said “No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him..”
· Luke 22:29: “and I assign to you, as my Father assigned to me, a kingdom.”

I still can't rep you but you get the triple thumb!

No man hath seen God at any time.....until He came in the flesh.
That was the purpose of the scripture. To reveal God to mankind, in Jesus Christ.

God is the only Savior, Jesus is the only Savior.

You do the math.

Default Jesus Has a God In the Flesh and In Heaven

Jesus has a God, as the bible shows us. It says that countless times, both when he is in the flesh, and once he is back in heaven. It is all over the new testament. I can’t make than any more clear.

The trinity teaches that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all 1 God (somehow “mysteriously”), yet at the same time they are manifested in 3 distinct “persons” at all times (”mysteriously”). So 3=1, and 1=3, and also 1+1+1=1.

Incredible math!! I stress the “mysteriously” word because no person can explain it.

Salvation is from GOD....Jesus was the Savior God used to bring HIS salvation to us......HUGE DIFFERENCE....and not difficult to understand at all.

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was made flesh. It is fairly easy to see the Word is God. If Jesus is the Word, is he not God? Before one says Jesus isn't God they should take note that every other religon outside of our faith teaches Jesus is not God. It is that one difference that sets us apart. In short Jesus is God.
