Post News, Passions over 'prosperity gospel': Was Jesus wealthy?

(CNN) -- Each Christmas, Christians tell stories about the poor baby Jesus born in a lowly manger because there was no room in the inn.

But the Rev. C. Thomas Anderson, senior pastor of the Living Word Bible Church in Mesa, Arizona, preaches a version of the Christmas story that says baby Jesus wasn't so poor after all.

Yes Jesus Christ was and is wealthy today. For in 2 Corinthians 8:9``For we know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that we through his povery might be rich`` Rich in provision of and for the plan of The Lord God for our lives to be blessed in the things of the Lord God, The head and not the tail. The whole Chapter in 2 Corinthians 8 gives revelation into God plan for prosperity.
