Tony needs some vent time.

I hate Santa Claus I wanna beat the guy with an antler, even my own, provided I can stick it back or it grows out again, miraculously.

I hate the way Santa Claus has torpedoed Jesus Christ out of His own day. Anyone knows of the Arab and the Camel?

When I'm having kids, I'm telling them Santa isn't coming, coz Al Gore got the arctic circle to dissolve and Santa drowned with it.

As for the brigade, yeah, I get it, he wasn't born today for some folks. He wasn't even born ever, for others. I get it, you get it, you're cool, I'm cool, we're all cool

Default Now that Christmas is over

I'am theoretically not a liberal christian, but we have accepted the mix of
Santa with our highest prioity which is the birth of our savior. We accept
the placement of the menora even next to a manger scene (although believe it should be removed after eight days of Hanukkah.) We as believing christians are forever grafted to the Jewish olive branch and for
that matter should return to our Jewish roots including Hannukkah (that's
for another discussion). Anyway, the commerical aspect of the holiday along with secular distracting emphasis on non christian symbols,decor-
ations, expensive gift giving is simply not what the reason for the season
is and it chrushes me to realize ignorant non spiritual parents are raising
little ones in this commerialized , pagan-like season without Jesus in the
loop. Looking in, it's a study really in the weirdest area of human behavior
and they haven't a clue about that behaqvior ......not the slightest clue!!

The first picture is so apt.

He's just a sign of splendor, indulgence and materialist obsessions. The total opposite of Christ.

Just like the golden calf the Israelites made under the Sinai. This man's nothing but a safe, secular replacement. It's just that the bugger is acceptable to all and sundry.

Repped.

I tell people that if the guy came down my chimney, either my dog or my fireplace tools would send him back...

...santa means "holy" in Spanish - what's up with that??!!

And the bondage that people are in over gift giving - parents are forced to choose between needs and what their kids are screaming for (whether they've been naughty or nice). The season is a source of tension and depression for so many; those who are free can take it or leave it - December 25th is Father's Day in my book.

It's a crime.
