God tells His entire creation to obey or listen to Him. He has been telling them the same thing since the beginning of mankind. The problem with the earth and all the disasters, disease, plagues, law breaking, crime, etc. is the problem with sin whether it be Haiti, Hawaii, America, China, etc. consequences are always a result of sin or obedience. I am not pointing fingers but using examples. I am showing you the example of cause and effect.

This is really simple: sin does not cause earthquakes. Tectonic plates rubbing against one another causes earthquakes.

But the entire world is falling apart from sin.. This world was created perfectly in the beginning. Do I have to get out my sword again???

Just do some research on our country's role in Haiti, other countries' roles and what the Haitians own government has done and you should have no problem embracing the comment as truth.

The power elite squandered all the money and the country was left unprepared for any disaster.

Most people have it all wrong.

No one knows the state of the men and women that where killed in the earthquake. We need to worry about our own instead of judging people that we've never met.

Careful now, you won't get along in this forum if you don't judge everyone else and stand up and say why my version of Christianity is the only true version and why everyone else caused all their own hardships and is going to hell.

Why am I not surprised you would take that as a compliment.

Have I ever claimed that God does not? Nope, some of the whackjob fundies and extremists on here say otherwise but I know I am in right relationship with God.

And who defines 'perfect'? You define it as 'no tectonic plates shall rub against each other and cause earthquakes'....are you sure that's how God defines it? Maybe God made a working, living planet...COMPLETE and perfect with weather systems and tectonic plates and climate change and change period. Ocean currents warm air to cause hurricanes but they also sustain life, not only in the oceans but affecting land masses as well. The same jet streams and air currents that cause tornadoes also bring life giving water and moisture to the Midwestern region, regulate planetary temperatures, etc. Our planet would not work to sustain life it were constant. You may think differently but as it is now, God's creation of Earth is as it always was...living and perfect.

Now as to your bolded statement....Chicken Little comes to mind.
Hypothetically speaking....let's remove humans from the earth. No humans = no sin. Do the tornadoes and hurricanes stop? Are there no more floods or droughts? Do the plates that form this planet stop their motion?
The planetary cause and effect you are talking about has absolutely NOTHING to do with sin. Oh, and the Earth isn't flat either.

Man, this is one of the MOST salient points I have ever read on this website.

Hypothetically no humans then no sin, no sin then no planet. Nothing to give God the glory so really no point.

p.s. Did you know in scripture that this present earth will be destroyed for a new earth and there will be no oceans?
