My eleven year old son said something kind of funny and thought provoking this evening. As I was heading out to the store and to do some errands with both of my boys I was looking for my cellphone. He said, "I know why you need your phone mom". "He said because you want to talk to your friends on city data forum". I had to laugh at his childlike innocence but then I thought about it later.

You guys/girls are my friends and I just wanted to tell you that I truly appreciate you in my life right now. I have learned and grown so much here on this forum. And even though all of us don't always agree with everything you motivate me to search the scriptures, to study and to search my own heart and walk with God. These threads have caused me to consider and reflect on so many different issues...things that I would never of considered before. Many times I will print certain threads out and make a study out of them.

I am in a very difficult place in my own personal life at the current time. Relatives passing away, difficult relationships, moving, etc. Basically lots of trials, lots of things happening and in all this I have learned to put Christ first and to totally lean on him. Without this forum and these posts to encourage and stimulate me I don't know where I would be today.

With that said, I wanted to thank all of you for your insight, love, support and posts. And again, like my son has observed, you are my friends...

God bless.

My 4yr old chewed me out for being online today at 4pm I was finishing up some homework. He said, "I dont see you cooking dad." How about that for putting someone in their place.

HI Raelyn,

I think that we have our differences in beliefs but I see you as a big bright soul who is going through so much. I have only been on this forum for a short time but it is nice to know that we have all failed, that we are not perfect but we are all trying our best to do what we believe to be right in God's eyes. That we can debate with someone on one post and then find a common denominator on another.

You are going through a very trying time and its a blessing to have children to help us through these ups and downs.....they can make us laugh sometimes through our tears

PS: I too have been on here quite a bit ....and a bit behind with work

Yes, discussion is a powerful thing. I love seeing everyone's ideas and how they think - very enlightening.
