Comment: 12 is mentioned 3 times = 36
v13 On the east three gates (36,000); on the north three gates (36,000) on the south three gates (36,000); and on the west three gates. 144,000 in all!

YES...That's another way of summing it. We must look to the old testament, creation, our beginning and the fall, the new testament for the evil to perish, and forgiveness today and tomorrow.
Like I said...I don't have my own interpretation...God's words in the scriptures are sufficient in themselves, to those who are not blind.
LIFE - the first option

Comment: To me...it is what it says, "to everyone" who obey his commandments
The LORD didn't say, blessed are they that do his commandments, that are the male virgins and jews, or from New Zealand, except those who are Gentiles...THIS IS ADDRESSED TO EVERYONE WHO IS OF GOD!
DEATH - the only other option
Revelation 22:15 For without (outside) are DOGS, and SORCERERS, and WHOREMONGERS, and MURDERERS, and IDOLATERS, and WHOSOEVER loveth and maketh a lie.
The 144000 are virgin men from the 12 Tribes of BIBLICAL Israel. The 12 Tribes are now mostly the people of Great Britain, Canada, Australia, NZ, USA, Western Europe, Scandinavia, and Israel. They are described as "virgin" to denote they are not tainted by the false teachings and practices of the apostate Christian churches.

Hello Verna: June 6 1957 (all the numbers can be found in passages that correspond with the same reduced total, but, The book of Psalms are the songs of the spirits and are always quoted in the Gospels by Our Lord, so I always go there first for guidance.)
1st total: 6+2+19+57 = 94
2nd reduced total: 6+2+10+12 = 30 (Simeon's number is 30)
3rd single digit total: 6+2+1+3 + 12 (Gad's number is 12)
Here's Jesus' example on how numbers is folder/reduced: 120 Disciples (Acts 1:15) 12 Apostles 120 without the zero is 12 3 Witnesses of the transfiguration (1+2 = 3)
Out of the 12 Apostles he picked Peter, James, and John to be witnesses!
The single digits are the most intimate and current. Today and tomorrow)
