...Jesus. It's all about Jesus.

It's about who He is and what He was to do, and what He has done, and what He will do.
It's about how to know Him and be made clean, and so, then, live in the presence of God forever, as His adopted child.

Jhn 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Jhn 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Jhn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Yes i agree it's all about Jesus who is Savior .

The last 2 verses you quoted are the main stumbling block for many to believe that he is the Savior of all.
We like to think that the receiving part is our part of the salvation deal.

Yet Jesus said

"No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:"

Coming to faith in the Savior is not by chance or when we feel like coming we will.

We all come to faith in the Savior at the appointed time , the moment we believe is a result of what he has previously been doing in our lives prior to that moment , hence it's all his doing , we can think we played our part as much as we want, but why would we ? What are we seeking to gain by believing we are part of it .He chose us .
If the love of God cannot win a man's heart nothing can .If you do not believe this you have never known the love of God

The thing is that all men are born with the Light which is Christ, lighting them. -How so, if they were doomed before they were brought into the world?
Why do some choose to seek that Light which has chosen to light all born of Adam, on coming into the world, and so, find Christ, by the seeking? -Freewill!
Why do some reject seeking that Light/Christ which lights them on coming into the world? -and what is the reason they do not get "more light" who do not seek, but have the light turned off, so to speak, so that they walk in darkness? -Freewill of Adam souls, and God's mercy for those who will not seek Him, so as to not cause their eternal damnation to be more severe for rejecting more Light.

God [Jesus Christ is God the judge, and is "Christ the Light", come in flesh] in His mercy for the unrepentant does not give more light to those who do not seek, so as to make their eternal judgment less severe, for He will judge each soul on the Light they had, and rejected, not on what they did not have.

His mercy is beyond our grasp, and His grace is beyond understanding, and His love for the lost, who will not choose Him, is incomprehensible, to us.

How can that be interpreted has a threat ?

If the love of God cannot win a man's heart nothing can .If you do not believe this you have never known the love of God .

Is there something else besides love that can win a man's heart .

Oh yea i forgot fundamentalists believe that fear can and threatening unbelievers with eternal torment can win a man

I wonder how many parents take their little children and build a huge bon fire in the back yard and threaten to toss them in it if their children do not profess a love for them.

And if they actually did, would not the world accuse those parents of being extremely wicked?

Thomas Allin in his book entitled Christ Triumphant wrote: "Can we call what is "bad" in man "good" in God?"

P.S. yeshuasavedme, I agree. The whole Bible is about God's love for humanity and sending His Son to actually do something about their predicament as sinners.

Obviously, He's more than all the books of the world could contain.
