Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I've heard that before too, but no one's ever straight up told me that we need to become worldly to "dupe" people in christianity.

I would say that that's pretty much spot on.

Pretty much every aspect of Christianity is borrowed / co-opted / modified from an earlier religious mythology. That is simple, historical fact.
