I'm curious to know if you believe that God gives warnings to people who are "not on the right path". Whether it be in the form of a dream, an illness, a drawing to a certain area (drawn to a monastery, a church, a biblical reference etc.) I am not asking about warnings from street preachers as many of them (not all) have a mental illness IMO

If you do believe God gives warnings, does he give them to all or just a select few? If you feel that it's just a select few, who are they and why did he choose to warn them and not others? What if the ones warned still deny him? Would their punishment be worse? (if you believe in Hell), Would he try to warn them again or leave them be? If he tries to warn them again, how many times would he do so before he leaves them be?

I know...a lot of questions but any response appreciated.

As an earthly father warns his children, so does our heavenly Father.

Pretty simple.

God uses angels, humans or any means so that He can bring His children home. God doesn't "warn", He gently guides.

I think God does give warnings to all. HE is just and extends the opportunity for salvation and deliverance to everyone. I think HE has many ways to get our attention.

I think God warns us through the convictions of the Holy Spirit..I do not think he warns us by making us sick, by taking a loved one from us or by having a disaster take our home or job from us...

yes God gives warnings. And he gives them to all people for many different reasons. And in many different ways. There are too many ways to even begin to list. God loves people and will always reach out and offer a way for salvation. If they deny him, it can only be up to God how often he wishes to continue trying. The fact that we are still here is proof enough. But aren't you glad he does that at all?

Cool Bible prophesy

Many feel somewhat lost when we look at the world scene.
Have you watched the news and wondered what is this world coming to????
Realities such as warfare, disease, and crime leave people wondering about what the future holds.
Government leaders offer little hope. However, a reliable explanation of these distressing days is available from God in his Word.
The Bible reliably helps us see where we are in the stream of time. It shows us we are in the last days of the present system of things 2 TIM 3:1

Three days before Jesus died, his disciples asked him: What will be the signs of your presence and the conclusion of the system of things? MATT 24:3

In reply, Jesus told of specific world events and situations that would clearly show that this ungodly system has entered it's last days.
Jesus told his disciples that only God knew exactly when the end of this system of things would come.
Jesus did foretell things that would take place on earth just before the Kingdom of God would bring true peace and security yo mankind. What Jesus foretold is now taking place!

Unprecedented Warfare-Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom --MATT 24:7 REV 6:4

Famine--MATT 24:7 REV 6:5,6,8

Pestilences--LUKE 21:11 REV 6:8

Increasing Lawlessness-- MATT 24:12

Ruining of the Earth--REV 11:18

Earthquakes--MATT 24:7

Critical Times Hard to Deal With((PERILOUS times will come for mankind))--2 TIM 3:1

Inordinate Love of Money--2 TIM 3:2

Disobedience to Parents --2 TIM 3:2

A Lack of Natural Affection--2 TIM 3:3

Loving PLEASURES Rather than God --2 TIM 3:4

A Lack of Self-Control--2 TIM 3:3

Without Love of Goodness-- TIM 3:3

Taking no note of Impending Danger--MATT 24:39

Ridiculers Reject Proof of the Last Days-- 2 PETER 3:3,4

Global Preaching of God's Kingdom--MATT 24:14 MATT 24:3,14

True Christians would be Objests of Hatred by all people--LUKE 21:17

Having a form of Godly Devotion but Proving False to it's Power--2 TIM 3:5

There will be a Mixture of Belivers and False belivers within the Church Body--MATT 13:24-30

There will be SCOFFERS--2 PETER 3:3-4

HUMANITY will be able to cross the globe rapidly and science will be advancing--DANIEL 12:4

Mankind will deny God once flooded the earth--2 PETER 3:5-6

The earth will be swimming in a sea of violence--LUKE 17:26

There will be warfare all over the globe--MARK 13:8

False Christs's and false prophets will be very effective in the art of deception--MATT 24:24

Sexual Immorality will abound--JUDE 1:8

Idolatry will be common--REV 9:20

Many Christians and church doctrines will depart from the faith--1 TIM 4:1

Homosexuality will be FLAUNTED --LEVITICUS 20:13

Many will rejoice in their UNRIGHTEOUSNESS--2 THESSALONIANS 2:12

These are just a few of the prophecies that are occurring.

After the good news is preached to God's satisfaction, the end is certain to come --MATT 24:14

So for the non-christian they may not take these "warnings" as "warnings". They may look at it as a bad dream, unfortunate coincidence, karma etc.

If this is the case, what method could or would God use to say "Hey...pay attention!!!"

Jesus honors all preferences and tolerances that his chidren have and may only say something though other children to nudge people to better ideas......or he will not say anything about tolerences of his Children.............If a Child of God listen to HIS Spirit on a moment to moment on discearning sin that may come to bother him the Lords Spirit will lead them to pray and stay out of sin with HIS Blood...... If I Child does not listen and sin comes then the Lord spirit will not lead his Child out of sin but will nudge them from time to time to stop sinning or be revived in His Spirit.........If a Ministries sins very bad and becomes disobedient, some time the Lord with reject that ministries.... Which came be very bad for these people which must get back and be revived.in their salvation.........Sometimes sin is so bad that these people are not prepared to survived......In the book of Jonah ... Jonah was sent by the Lord God to go and warn the Nineveh people that their wickedness was going to destroy themselves........ the Lord brings warning the the church before the September 11 2001 disaster, but his warning where not direct understanding of the disaster that came, but understanding of sin in the body of Christ that must be removed so prayers can be answered. .... The Gatekeeper prayer is a prayer to warn the people to turn or curses can come,... in the Old Testament if a gatekeeper warning came to a person that warning must be delivered or all loss of blood or life would be on that gatekeeper life.if he didnot deliver the message.............

Cool Warning signs.....

It is vitally important to know the truths of the Bible.
This knowledge is worthless if you do not worship God in truth ((John 4:24

Practicing the truth and doing God's will, is what counts.
Faith without works is dead. ((James 2:26

A key part of our mental and emotional being is our ability to have free will.
To go with God's gift of free will for humans, God gave us the ability to think, weigh matters, make decisions, and know right from wrong. (Hebrews 5:14)

Free will IS based on intelligent choice.
We have the choice or Freewill, to believe or disbelieve.

Everyone will have heard the truth. It is man's choice whether to believe or not to believe. But again, Faith without works is dead.
