Need suggestions for online sermons
Hey everyone...
I would like to hear some suggestions of websites or certain preachers, speakers or evagelists.
I would like to find someone that is NOT hum drum. I need someone who is really on FIRE for God and energetic and just WOW in your face!
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
BTW, if you do not want to make a suggestion in public forum, please feel free to send me a PM

I've heard that Allistair Begg is excellent. I haven't had the chance to search out any of this tapes or writings, though I'd like to hear him. He's a Scottish preacher.

Kawg, are you podcasting? or downloading mp3s? streaming? I podcast several.
Gregory Dickow from Chicago (Changing Lives dot org)
There's a great church in the suburbs of DC, Covenant Life. Great pastors and messages.I can PM you the website but you can podcast by searching for Covenant Life.
Highly recommend David Platt from Brook Hills church in Birmingham, AL. You can also podcast him.
I also listen to Bethel Church from Redding, California. It's pretty wild but the teachings are amazing.
Who are you currently listening to?

That was just too cute and sweet Dreameyes .
The truth is, I'm feeling a bit stagnated at my present church. Don't get me wrong, I love them all DEARLY! But I am just not being fed like I need to be. We would attend a different church EXCEPT for the HUGE fact that the pastor is our next door neighbor . I don't want to go into extreme details on here, but I just need to get some GOOD gospel somewhere .
We are also very involved in our small little church (of 50 people on a GOOD day). My husband is now taking over leading the youth group, we both are directors in the AWANA program (kid program) and we are all pretty tight knit, but that just isn't cutting it for me right now. So, I thought instead of the akwardness of leaving our church, maybe I could find some good speakers online.
Thank you for all of the responses!

Thanks Alpha...I will look these up! It's funny though, I was RAISED in Redding, California . That was a few years ago, but....my sister still lives there, I will have to try and talk her into going to Bethel Church. They are not church goers...but just MAYBE I can get her to think about it

Well I think it's important to not raise any one person to the level of just taking anything they say at face value.
I try and get a broad sampling of messages/techniques and make sure they line up with scripture.
Bill Johnson of Bethel Church has some folks out there that don't care for him too much. Course I've seen that with virtually every pastor that has a ministry. Bethel Church very much believes in the gifts being in operation and nearly every sermon starts with reports of healings. They have declared themselves a 'cancer free' zone and frequently speak of things that make you say 'There's no way.' People travel from around the world to their church for prayer and healing. I haven't personally experienced any of the supernatural things that they talk about, but the teachings are very, very good. Download iTunes (It's free) and search for Bethel Church and download one from about a month ago called 'The Context of Justice Pt1' by Kris Valloten. Totally amazing. His points are completely mind-blowing but spot on.
Your sister may not care for Bethel Church though, it's a church full of Jesus freaks, which in my opinion is a good thing...but I don't know about a non-church goer. She may have heard of it though, that'd be interesting.

Maybe I can just make it a challenge to her...I'll tell he I heard about the church and was wondering how it is I'll tell her I need some feedback about the church . I would give my right arm to get her family into the word of God and into His house
Thanks again!
