I just read this article by pastor Greg Laurie who has a regular column in WorldNetDaily, and wanted to post it here. It concerns the way people have turned away from the truth of the Bible and have created their own belief system by picking and choosing from the Bible that which they find to their liking and discarding the rest. It correctly says that Americans have personalized the Bible. Tailored it to their liking. It is moral relativism in opposition to absolute truth. Here's the link.

Of course they have. The current version of democracy itself propogates these lies and has for some time. Its why our prisons are full, our economies are falling apart, our children die before they are born and many that survive are missing parents, our wars have been wars of politics and not of morals, our politicians want to control us.
The current lack of biblical understanding is more a mixture of democracy (or more correctly philosophy) and watered down theology picked like food from a buffet. All it needs are commercials in between each segment and it can be on all the major networks too. The sad part is the ones in error accuse the ones in Truth of making this mixture.
But the truth is the Light yet remains and thus the free choice to repent stands for a few. Even those who have claimed they have made their decision while placing sin at the feet of God in claiming they have no will. The conviction of many remains and if they do not recognize that conviction of the Holy Spirit soonn they will face the true judgement that awaits.
The tolerance or Apostalic Anointing Gifts of Holy spirit or Undersatanding for the world coversions is not released for the people of the Lord, and the tv leader preacher fight among them selves thaw the apostolic gift, and preach me, me, you, you, never them, over there...... See Preacher can not say`` IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME THAN YOU ARE RELIGOUS``...... is a statement that thaws the Apostalic gifts from working, because it creates divisions against the people who may or may not be religous. and these preachers who reject the religous must repent and bless the religous, then the Lord will have a place to send them when The Lord is converting the people, otherwise the people remain unconverted because of this disobedience of divisions of witchcraft...... The prophecy is that after the present preachers are passed the power of Christ for the world will rise for the end time harvest and a Testamony of Jesus Christ to ALL Nations like the Word of God Said........

The USA was not founded by Christians, it was founded by Calvinists, who were antichrists. The USA has gone, in a limited way so far, the way of older, maturer Europe- away from hypocrisy. Europeans just get on with things, and don't open their mouths about religion. Much safer, perhaps.
Laurie presents the view that Christianity is based on morality, not faith in the Christ, and morality comes through the Bible. Nonsense. Morality is what we all have, at the moment we come bawling into this world- if not before. We don't need no high-falutin' book to tell us that pain is not as good as comfort.
And we all know that most of us are going to hell, because obeying the Christ costs more than most of us have got. So why doesn't Laurie do as Europeans do, shut up and enjoy his ten minutes here, like a sensible fellow.

Oh, what a pity. We can't learn why Laurie is right. The people that in darkness sat will have to stay there.
