There is no such thing as a "heavenly language."

To the devil, you are correct. But to God's people, there definitely is. It is written.

Acts 2
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

There is a real baptism of the Holy Ghost where the person being baptized experiences this scripture; this is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Can you describe the 'cloven tongues like as of fire'?

"EVERYONE" UNDERSTOOD THEM in their own language. Acts 2:6-8

No special person needed to interpret it! Interpretation and deception are one

Peace...

Sorry bud but there is nothing in Acts 2 about some sort of "heavenly language." The tongues they uttered were human languages:

Acts 2:7-11 CLV Now they are all amazed, and marveled, saying, "Lo! are not all these who are speaking, Galileans? (8) And how are we hearing, each in our own vernacular in which we were born? (9) Parthians and Medes and Elamites and those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea, as well as Cappadocia, Pontus, and the province of Asia, (10) Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and the repatriated Romans, both Jews and proselytes, (11) Cretans and Arabs - we are hearing them speaking in these languages of ours of the great things of God!"

With respect to Acts 2,

- Who gave the utterance? The Holy Ghost. The 3rd Person of the Godhead.
- Where was He from? Heaven.

That would be a Heavenly language for men to understand in their tongues.

Acts 2:11 - ... we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Sorry but that dog don't hunt.

When the angel vised Mary he spoke in Hebrew or Aramaic or Greek. It was not some angelic language which she needed an interpreter.

And it isn't a holy "ghost". It is the "holy spirit."

The tongues were the languages those people from those countries spoke. They didn't speak heavenly languages. The Parthians and Medes languages were not heavenly.

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue

speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no

man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit

he speaketh mysteries.

1 Corinthians 14:2

'These three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love. It is love, then, that you should follow. Set your hearts on spiritual gifts, especially the gift of proclaiming God's message. The one who speaks in strange tongues does not speak to others, but to God, because no one understands him. He is speaking secret truths by the power of the Spirit. But the one who proclaims God's message speaks to people, and gives them help, encouragement, and comfort. The one who speaks in strange tongues helps only himself, but the one who proclaims God's message helps the whole church.' 1 Co 13:13- 14:1-4

Notre Dame University, the University of Chicago and Union College are among a string of educational institutions selected to receive grant money to conduct research on the growing Pentecostal-charismatic movement.
The Center for Religion and Civic Culture at the University of Southern California (USC) will award five centers and 16 individual scholars and their teams a total of $3.5 million for research.

Kimon Sargeant, vice president of human services for the foundation, said Pentecostalism is "one of the most dynamic and potentially transformative religious movements" in this century.
"The researchers selected for the Pentecostal and Charismatic Research Initiative have a unique opportunity to help scholars and the broader public understand how this movement-inspired by powerful worship and religious experience-is changing the cultural, social and religious landscape around the world," Kamon said.

Professor Donald Miller, executive director of the Center for Religion and Civic Culture at USC, said Pentecostals and charismatics are shifting the momentum of Christianity from the Western world to the Southern Hemisphere.
"Some of the most creative faith-based programs in the world are being developed by fast growing Pentecostal and charismatic congregations-both Protestant and Catholic," he said.
