I think its amazing how god reveals things to us..
When we are confused and don't know which way to go or what to do..
WE ask him for guidance and he shows us.. it hits me like a tons of bricks and without a doubt i know what i must do.
I have been searching for quite sometime for the truth and trying to find a Church that i can Trust to Show me the way( not saying that there arnt trustworthy churches)... but what i have come to realise is that GOd is the only one who can Show Me what he needs me to do..so i listen ( his mouth to my ear so to speak) and as i listen and obey .. his voice becomes more clear and i become more obiedient.. my life has changed so much since my search has begun and it is a personal journey for us to Know Jesus and for him to do his works within us.. allowing us to Experience his Joy and to free us ( an ongoing process that we must diligently take part in) from the burden of Sin.

Sound like you are on the right target, Hearing the Lord is a gift of Holy Spirit, read or hear the Bible on cd and every parable will make sense because the Lord is with you.............As a new person on City-Data this is a place where people can clean the proud ideas of selfishness out and be humble before the Lord Jesus and learn a wealth of wisdom needed. You're right, but I don't know why it should surprise you. The Bible teaches that if we lack wisdom, we need to ask God, having faith that He will answer us, and He will. What we need to remember is that He won't always tell us what we're expecting to hear.

Gentle now.....all of us are not walking at the same pace.. for some it's new, for others it's been a long time, and then they're some, still seeking. Thank God they've come huh?

I agree Betsey the one point that I would make is that we should not think we have attained, we should always continue to seek and hear. I believe that we are all seeking and at different paces.
