We do not save ourselves by our works or keeping the law but our putting our faith in him enables us to keep the law through him. In essence it is how we can love God with our whole heart, and our neighbour as ourselves - through the Spirit.

The assurance of salvation we have is that while we were yet sinners God loved us. We love him because he first loved us. What he started he will finish. I have complete faith in God.
I think I agree with you on all this. Best to have our faith in God and not ourselves. Thanks for the welcome by the way.

The OP here is

We all need Biblical assurance of our salvation. Suppose you have doubts because of the lifestyle you are living. We cannot trust ourselves to whether we are saved, we must go to the Word of God to determine God's will and His sure-fire test of how we can know we are saved. It's what God's Word says about our life, not what we say about it or what others say for us.
The threads that you had your comments deleted in were threads specifically addressed to universalists to ask a question of them.

And you were specifically asked to not discuss universalism on this thread. Why won't you respect that?
