Isn't that heartbreaking! Imagine how much anguish the Lord felt at the time he said that. In another place it says:

OT A BONE OF HIM SHALL BE BROKEN.” 37And again another Scripture says, “THEY SHALL LOOK ON HIM WHOM THEY PIERCED.” - John Ch. 19
