At least, just my 2 cents...

Blessings, and thanks for this interesting thread!

Brian,

Paul heard the voice but did not see Jesus. So it was a spiritual encounter with Jesus not a physical manifestation.

As for the rest of your post...ummmm yeah. I don't subscribe. Jesus did return in glory to complete man's redemption during the destruction of Jerusalem (70ad). We are now living in the New Jerusalem within God's presence.

Wanda,

If his prophesy did not happen then he is not the ONE! But it happend just about 6 days after in the transfiguration (Mathew 17:1), Peter James and John had a spiritual revelation of the power he will come with. That power is espoused in HIS brightness - brightness stands for unlimited power. The fact that the old prophets were there also had its significance. Shalom!

None of the above has happened yet so Christ has not returned yet to set up the next age kingdom on the earth.
We need to be in spirit to understand Paul's writings. I read the portion but could not connect it the way you did.

As for the Rev, the worship of God and the 24 elders all were shown to John as a revelation of what will happen on the earth in the end time. Sure you remeber the Lord's prayer? "Thy Kingdom come". God's kingdom coming will spell the end or unification of all earthly kingdoms. You come to a strong man's house to take him out, you need to use maximum force. All the natural disasters we are witnessing are the initial signs of that maximum force. Those destructions that we read about in John's Revelation will happen under the direction of the returned Christ, when the kingdom of God has been established. Its not just earthquakes, but the spiritual Armagadeon war. We are just starting the war, the war of good over evil.

Perhaps you are reffering to the time of the 6th seal, when further destructions will be done on earth? It is Christ who will be doing all the destructions, wiith increasing severity as time goes on.

Is this thread a joke? Or are you getting ready to claim you are Jesus or you know where He is?
If that is the case then I should quote this:

Matthew 24:23-25

23At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. 25See, I have told you ahead of time.

Jesus sent his Holy Spirit at penticost, 50 Days after the cross...... Jesus came and conquered Rome at the Fall of Rome and gave the leadership in Rome Christianity without any bloodshed..... Jesus came three and a half years after the French Revelution and established Christianity which was lost by the liberal attackers...... Jesus promises to come and save his Church in the last day from being slaughtered and ended by the carnal spirit who will established dominion in the earth... Jesus come to resurrect his Church, because if he does not do it, his Church will be gone and the earth will be doomed. and his plan and purpose will be challenged......Jesus promises to come at Judgement Day and resurrect every person who ever lived and every demon, fallen angel, and devil and judge them by their works and stand before every last one........Jesus is still coming soon........

Certainly am not. All am saying is that if he has not come, then he would be a lier and since he is not a lier, then he has come. You only need to sincerely seek him as he has come with a knew name and a new assignment as was clearly stated in Rev 3:12. The problems we see in the world bear testimony to the fact that he has arrived. The old order must give way for a new order.

Do you mean He's been here several times and things didn't always work out the way He planned?

If that's the case, He's not much of an omni-potent God, is he?

If Jesus has already come, doesn't that make this His millenial reign?

I don't see Him sitting on the throne in Jerusalem.
