My mom died in 1977 at the age of 57. The agony of cancer. They rationed out pain meds in those days, fearing that one would grow immune to it and it wouldn't benefit at the end. So thankful that now they know one should not have to suffer so much. She showed and taught me many things. She was not perfect but I love her more for that.

So many years without her presence. But I will never forget her.
