So Jesus came to save the believing sinners who are no longer sinners anymore?

Come on! Let's be reasonable. Did Jesus also mean he came to make believers out of the lost?

Or is it that he came to seek and SAVE the lost?

Those who are found are not lost anymore!

1 John 2:2 tells us Christ not only atoned for our sins but for the sins of the whole world. Jesus is the savior of the world, the savior of all people. You might have faith that that only means some people, I have faith it means all people.

Peace out...

This is what the Paul said the purpose of the Cross was in Ephesians 2 verse 15 .

. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace. Amen and Amen

Who are the 2 ?

So God making one new man out of the jew and gentile was always His plan , bit it had to be in His way and order which meant Him making a covenant firstly with the House of Israel (Old Testament) and then a New Covenant with the whole world (New Testament).

So this supercedes what you believe about the house of Israel.

He was sent first to the people He was in covenant with , He was not sent solely to them who He was in covenant with .

It's actually short sighted not to see the bigger picture, purpose and plan of God which is to reconcile the whole world unto Himself , i will go as far to say that to reject this wonderful plan of God's to reconcile all to Himself is down to hardness of the heart.

It's almost as if orthodox christianity uses everything it possibly can(mainly its carnal short sideness of the scriptures) to oppose the thought that not only God wills and desires all to be saved but Him being God that He is able to accomplish it . Only He can and only He will.

Paul explains that in great detail. Start with Romans 1.
