May I ask some questions? So many times I hear that in this day and time we aren't under the law. Wasn't tithing an Old Testament teaching? Along with all the other teachings from the the Old Testament tithing was commanded. Why is it that as believers we always pick and choose what part of the Bible we live by? From what I understand, it's one BOOK. If you take tithing from the Old Testament teach it as a command in this time wouldn't it be living by the law? Don't miss understand me, we as a family do, give in more ways that just MONEY. It does however concern me that it's so easy for believers to pick and choose, when Yahovah made things very clear. I do Believe that's 10% of all that you prosper.

In my experience, it seems like those who don't Tithe, are the ones most concerned about legal issues like 'net vs gross' or 'paying Tithes' or 'Tithing 100-percent to the church vs elsewhere' ... and other nits.

Those who do Tithe, quickly realize that to a 'Father who owns the cattle on a thousand hills', our Tithing has less to do with the money ... or even those who receive it, -- than it has to do with the condition of the giver's heart. One's checkbook probably reveals more (to US) about our own heart-level condition than almost anything else.
