Eternal torment is the exact opposite of love. This is why I believe God allows the idea of eternal torment to exist, so we can fully understand what love is by first seeing what the exact opposite of love is.

I agree with this, legoman.

I believe that those who regret hell are not following God. I believe they are deceived by Satan.

People want to believe in eternal torment even though it can be shown to be not in scripture. People want to believe in free will even though it can be shown to be not in scripture. People just want to hang onto these two ideas for some reason, even though they are contrary to what scripture says. I believe it is simply due to pride.
I couldn't disagree with you more, but that's obvious.

It is completely contradictory to the Bible and thus it is not Christian.

I believe the ETers are so afraid of going to ET that they can't stray from believing it. I have been told that I am going to be in hell (of which I have no doubt LOL) because I don't believe their version of hell exists. So I believe that is how they think. That if THEY deny hell exists then THEY will go to hell.

However, the truth will set you free.. not enslave you!

I call eternal life having life abundantly.

I have no doubt that I'm NOT going to hell. I refuse to accept UR because I accept God's Word as True. 100% of it is true because I do not believe there are mistranslations. God is capable of keeping His Word free from error and it's sad that people think otherwise!
