As i sit and patiently wait for your truth to be revealed to me. I silence my mind, and listen for your voice to speak to my heart.
I give thanks for the suffering that i must entail to become free from the earthly desires that have become so rooted in me, as i die to Self..You begin to live in me.
As i carry the cross i pray for strength and ask that i may see it to the end..so that i may die on the cross as did Jesus so that i may Rise as he did.
Holy Spirit be with me... let me see all the traps that are set for me.. let me not stumble and fall. For the enemy wishes death for me... but your Promise to me is LIFE eternal.
Let my eyes be focused on you always and never led astray. Let your light guide me home.
Clean my heart oh lord and renew my spirit.
Let me always know that no desire on this earth can ever compare to what you have waiting for me in Zion.
Take away my want to be right, take away my earthly wisdom. Reveal to me your Truth and let me never part from it.
