Mike, I agree with you that the bible is the inspired word of God. But, why do you keep saying in these threads that it is the mind of Christ? Can you quote a scripture that says that? In this scripture, it is very clearly talking about the Holy Spirit. The bible wasn't even finished yet when this was written, so how could it say we HAVE the mind of Christ if it's the written word? We have the mind of Christ means we have the Holy Spirit.
"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" is a rhetorical question, but if one answered, it would be "no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God." Your answer conflicts with this scripture because it is, "I do because I have the written word, which is the mind of Christ."

How else can I say it? The Holy Spirit only teaches you what is in the Scriptures. Apart from the Scriptures which have been learned by means of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit has nothing to work with in producing spiritual momentum in the believer.
Maybe it will make more sense coming from another source.

We know the truth by the way it feels.. the way in changes us from worldly things to Eternal things.. the truth is powerful, gods light is Powerful and it is there to change us.. it is not to look at but to walk in.. in order to enter the narrow gates we must be cleaned from all worldly desires and understandings. and submit fully to the power of our Living God ( who is in all of us today)

God doesn't hide the truth from any who seek it. The Bible is the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15), and in denying that you are in direct opposition to the truth.
The Bible is indeed the Word of God, but make sure of the translation. Also, since the Bible is the Word of God, we can conclude that only righteous people will go to Heaven. Sinners will have no part in God's Heaven; they will be shut outside the gate.
Matt. 5:20 - For I [Jesus] say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Ephesians 4:24 - And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Only the holy and righteous will walk through those pearly gates. Sin can't enter Heaven.
No one is walking through any pearly gates. It is God who has raised us up together and MADE US sit together in the heavenly places in Christ....

So what makes you think it's referring to the bible ? . Jesus said He is the truth(the reality of who God is).

The truth, here presented in 2 Timothy, is focusing on the resurrection of Israel, claimed to be coming from the OT scriptures.

I believe there is a distinction made in the scriptures between the scriptures and the word of God. When the scriptures are talked about they are called 'the scriptures' -- when it says the word of truth in that passage I do not think that it means specifically 'the scriptures', but the word of truth that is contained in the scriptures, I think it actually means you need to correctly "handle" the truth and not to twist it.

I gave you a full explanation (actually the scripture did) that the passage says clearly that the mind of Christ is the Holy Spirit! You can't miss it unless you choose to.
