OK, I understand. Just a question: If the bible teaches that no one can know the day or hour of the coming of the Lord (not even the incarnate Christ), on what basis does this fellow make his assertion?

I am not certain, he appears to explain that on a video from his site, but I cannot get it to work.

Other verses he seems to imply that those who are not watching are the ones that can't know, but that seems to be stating the obvious as a means to explain a scripture that is not so obvious. That kind of ploy tells me I would like to watch his video just to see what kind of ploy he uses with that passage.

As well, I wouldn't mind those who maintain that "Jesus is coming soon" as a phrase designed to obfuscate your own secret personal predictions or agreement with harold or any other minister making predictions to explain, how you can disagree with harold while maintaining Jesus is coming soon.

Seems May 21st, is coming soon.

Harold Camping pulled this same stunt in 1996, I feel really bad for all those who will see May 22nd here on Earth - what a letdown that will be.

Camping predicts specifically 5-21-2011, many Christians say "soon" non-specific and meaning example less than 50 years. True bible believers cannot and do not know the day or hour as per Gods word. Its not known not even the angels in heaven know. Its that way for a reason so people will make their decision now not later when it may be to late. As to you atheist who don't believe in God and seem to hate us Christians this thread is not meant for you unless your intent is merely to insult/disrupt thats not sarcasm just the truth. I'm a Christian and have NO interest in going over to a Atheist thread where I am not welcome so I don't. Camping is a false witness and deceiver not just in 1996 but here he goes again - God instructs us to shun/avoid/turn away from this.

That's what I was thinking too. I've always said that regarding any date that's set in stone to a so called prophet or other "leader" we can be certain that WILL NOT be the day.
