I think if you studied most forms of Christianity you would end up coming to the same conclusion.

But the point is that they teach faith in Jesus and that is what salvation requires, right? Does everyone think that all the doctrines of your church are correct?

God works through the priest. He is a mere vessel. Please educate yourself.

Jesus specifically gave the Apostles the power to forgive and retain sins. Check John 20:21-23 for specifics. Through apostolic succession, priests and bishops today continue to do this via the sacrament of reconciliation.

Jesus did not give anyone the power to forgive sins. Now we can forgive people when they sin against us but removing the sin is done only by Jesus' blood. His blood is the only thing that cleanses us from our sins. The pride of man has tainted Christianity and perverted the truth.

In your OPINION it's a lie. Despite what you may think, you have far from all of the answers.

I most certainly do NOT have all of the answers, but the Bible clearly states that only Jesus, God, can forgive one of their sins and wipe the slate clean. Stop trying to make an argument where there is none.

such foolishness when we try to interpret the bible to support our own needs---can we not accept that some believe that priests(disciples) were given the ability to forgive sins and those of you who believe only in blood of jesus interpretation stop trying to push upon others as yours being the correct way

IN THE END WHEN WE DIE WILL IT REALLY MATTER-- He will let us know
