Hey, that's a miracle cure, isn't it?

I was just about to post a reply saying that Benny Hinn isn't the only ministry taking a brow-beating. Regarding TBN, (Jan and Paul Crouch) there are the usual detractors there too. For an eye-opener, read (all of) this: Trinity Broadcasting Network - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have no idea if this Wikipedia stuff said of them is true or not, but for me it really doesn't matter: I don't watch Benny Hinn, or TBN, and I don't support either one. (just not much of a TV watcher)

Does Hinn still stay in 30 grand a night hotel rooms? What is with the picture of the dead guy? Where is a picture of a dead Jew (I assume the dead gut is a Palestinian but how can I know for sure) so we can see what the other side supports-suicide bomb results and the like? Who is the dead guy; should he have been killed? There is little information there, so I refuse to be outraged.

If Benny has so much power to heal then why do it for just a few on national TV? Why doesn't he go into hospitals and nursing homes, etc. all over the country and heal all the people and clear the places out. Send this poor sick and dying people back home to their families. Get them off of life support systems, blood transfusions, oxygen, etc. etc. etc.
IMHO waving your hand in front of people or blowing on them is not scriptural teaching. Can anyone show me where Jesus did this kind of foolishness? No!

Dont you think that if someone truly held the power from God to heal, they would to so in a manner that would be giving rather than for self-promotion. If the healing is true, why does he have to heal in front of a camera? Does his power only work when cameras are around? The power of God is mysterious and at his will, not at the random will of Man. If this power is real, and any joe-blo can waltz on a stage in front of millions of people and have Benny Hinn knock him out or slap his head and be healed, then how is it that in every other way, God doesn't act like a drive-thru service at our convenience? Benny Hinn represents a "gum-ball machine" type belief that God is at the will of Man and is the "most powerful magician in the sky" waiting for the opportunity to grant our every wish.

If you held an un-earthly power, would you want to be risk it being scruitinized by the media or would you use it quietly, without expecting self-gain?

I am tired of celebrity Christians and the people who follow them. I follow Jesus. He is the only Star I am fixated on. Anyone trying to bring glory to themselves is to be avoided. No matter how "anointed" they claim to be.

Could Benny perform the ultimate miracle and bring someone back from the dead?

Jesus performed these miracles for no other reason than to prove to the "Lost Sheep of the House of Israel" that he was their long awaited Messiah. These things were their last invitation back into the fold.

People need to get back to doing some personal Bible study and stop listening to these hucksters on TV who are in a "business" to further their own selfish ambitions.
These TV preachers are super rich, and in and of itself is no sin, but Jesus had no place to lay His head. The Apostles were not wealthy. When Jesus sent them on their missionary journey He told them to go with the clothes on their backs and take no money with them. Mark 6:8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:

Like another poster said, he is a false teacher. Scripture teaches that there will be wolves in sheeps clothing, false prophets.
