I have one more crazy idea from my brain. Harley Davidson has been playing around with a matte/flat black for years now. It's call "Black Denim". You need that color as an option Dodge......trust me.
I bought the JGC six months ago and love it. I have the 3.0L EcoDiesel and it's great being able to go 500-700+ miles per tankful, and if driven with a light foot can get over 30MPG on the highway. Mine is pretty loaded, so it's cushy and the missus likes that a lot. I admit I enjoy its creature comforts too.
Sure it's no Wrangler and there are some who consider Wranglers to be the only real Jeep, but the JGC does pretty well on the trails and over the obstacles. For what I need from a rig, comfortable daily driver and road trip explorer, and an occassional offroad expedition rig, the JGC is perfect for me. And it's plenty big -- I don't need any bigger.
As for why Dodge doesn't build a larger SUV to compete against Escalades and Surburbans and Ford Explosions, I really don't understand why. Maybe Dodge wants to be more ecologically responsible than the others. But whataver reason, they are missing a large part of a profitable market sector.
What do you guys think of the 2015 Tahoe/Suburban funky brown interior. I didn't like it at first but it's growing on me.
We have it on our 08 Saturn. Back then GM called it Moroccan Brown. Toyota has it on their current Rav4. Pretty attractive. It closed the deal when my son was shopping for a new car a few weeks ago.
