I had a 2010 Caliber and loved it....I traded it in at 120K for a hemi Charger. I do miss the cargo space but the charger beets the Caliber in every other category...even MPG....well, when I keep my foot out of it anyways.
Even still, my average MPG hovers around 23-24 MPG. When I'm on it a lot it'll drop down to 21-22 and if I play nice with it it hits 28-29 mpg...now, all of this is on 91 octane, which is all I use.
My 2011 is about to hit 147k. I will be giving it to my son who has a 1997 dodge stratus, it is about to rust away.. I expect my grand daughter to get (Caliber)in 2 years. He likes the space in the engine compartment, easy to work on engine.
I have been using the e 85 fuel runs great gets 29 mpg around town and about 32-33 on trips.
The car is at 151,000 miles. It was handed down to family. Running great no leaks. I know that some magazines had put down the Caliber. In the end it may go 250,000.
Purchased a 2018 Journey Crossroads. Another car put down by some magazines.
Grand Daughter informed me today that there is a new recall on the caliber.
Catalytic Converter recall. Crazy, 200k + miles and FCA installs a new converter and updates the computer.
This 2011 may go 300K.
They are not a bad car at all. I had a Jeep Compass, mostly the same vehicle. I like it except it was too small for my liking. It did really well in snow. The gas tank only gave a short range. Took several trips with it in the year and half I had it. Upgraded to a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
There should be no reason for it to not make it to 300,000 miles. Take care of it and it will treat you well.
New update. Caliber has been handed down to Grand son. Engine and CVTII running like clocks. No oil leaks. He just changed the rear drum brakes (third set).

I actually picked up another Caliber...this one is manual and gets a consistent 30MPG.
I made a mistake selling my Charger Scat Pack in preparation for ordering a wide body Scat Pack...they cancelled B5 color and not only that, from December the price for the exact model/options went from $51K to 58K!....Sorry, not going to order one now at that inflated price...especially since I can't get the color I want.
Really great news on the Dodge Hornet. It will have a Hybrid/EV model.
It looks like my old Caliber (2011)
Hope Hornet is as well built as that. Caliber still going strong. Grandson now driving it to HS and his job.
