First the truck would crank but not turn over. This would happen on and off for a year but would run once started. Finally, it would just crank. Checked the fuses and relays. Ended up replacing the ignition fuse. Started up, drove a 1/4 mile and stalled. Wouldn't start again. Next day, started and idled 5 min. Put into drive and put, put, backfired and died. Wouldn't start. Keep it mind, it will crank but won't turn over. Next day, started again, immediately put, put, backfire, then died. White smoke coming out of throttle body. I didn't want to mess with it anymore. Originally when it was just cranking but not turning over, I thought it was the crankshaft position sensor. Now, maybe an injector stuck? I tried to make this simple so it could be understood. BTW, no check engine light or codes.
