I don't. I think they are cool looking cars and I rode in one of those. But I know a church elder at my congregation that says that those cars a junk.

They are known to be underpowered and unreliable, but I don't hate them. In fact, when they first came out I thought they looked cool/retro, until I saw how small they were, and the little 4 cylinder with front wheel drive. They were only made for 9 years, so I guess not a lot of people liked them.

We have one & we love it, it is very roomy, it has about 160,000 miles on it so far. 12 years old. There are lots of them around, I see them any time we are out, so thye must be fairly reliable for others too. I am sure your Church elder has lots of opinions, not all of them should be taken at face value.

Don't have one. Don't hate it but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't buy one. Strange enough but it looks too much like a car my G/GMa used to have.

Had 2, as I said in another post...new tranny, but it almost wouldn't go over a bridge. It's a point A to B car.

A good friend had a PT and a Toyota Solara at the same time, both convertibles. He said the Toyota was a far better car than the PT. I sat in one in the showroom and found the space was quite good. At that time I needed an SUV to tow my camper, so it never went any further.

I like the styling better than the Chrysler convertible that I now have, but by then the PTs were long discontinued.

PT Cruisers are usually liked by the folks who like Chrysler products.
Hated by those who hate Chrysler products.
Some techs hated them due to the engine bay sheet metal made access tough.
They are mostly Dodge Stratus parts.
I liked they are like a mini van, you sit up in a chair VS on the floor like most cars.
The turbo models were decent performers.

Never been in one. Thought they had great styling but were made too small. Heard the gas mileage is not too good also. Chrysler seems like they are late to the party when it comes to new technology.

I've owned one for 8 years. It's 13 years old and runs just fine, thank you very much. I have no complaints with it.
